वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों

वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों ,
जहाँ दोस्तों का साथ था ,और जिंदगी का  बेफिक्र अंदाज था ,
जिम्मेदारियों का न कोई बोज था ,बस खुश रहना हमें रोज था ,
जहाँ ख्वाहिशों के समंदर थे और हम उसके सिकंदर थे ,
वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों

न दिनों का पता था ,न रातों का पता था ,
बस सिर्फ दोस्तों के जज्बातों का पता था ,
किसी भी टॉपिक पर समां बांधना
और अपने अपने तर्कों से ठहाके मारना
कभी लंच होते ही , टिफ़िनो पर टूट पड़ना
और कभी बारिश का बहाना बना, केमिस्ट्री की क्लास में न जाना ,
बायो का टेस्ट होना और पिकनिक पर जा मौज उड़ाना,
कान पकड़ कर स्कूल के चकर लगाना ,
और डंडे खा कर एक दूसरे को देख मुस्कुराना ,
वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों


न समय की चिंता ,न पढ़ाई की टेंशन ,
न दुनियादारी ,न कोई समझदारी ,
थी तो बस अपने यारों की यारी ,
वो भी जान से प्यारी ,
कभी गेम्स के बहाने ,
कभी डांस के दीवाने ,
और कभी एन सी सी के याराने ,
आज भी नहीं भूले यारों हम वो ज़माने ,
वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों

जो कल तक जान हुवा करते थे ,
आज अनजान हुवे पड़े हैं ,
ऐसी भी क्या मशरूफियत ,
जो यारों से बेजान हुवे पड़े हैं ,
ज्यादा न सही, थोड़ा तो याद किया करो यारो ,
अपना न सही, दोस्ती का तो ख्याल किया करो यारो,
तुम आज में सोये पड़े हो
और हम कल में खोए पड़े हैं
ख्वाब एक बार फिर दोस्ती का,
मन में पिरोये पड़े हैं।
वो भी क्या दौर था दोस्तों



आओ एक बार फिर समां बांध लें ,
अपनी दोस्ती का फर्ज अदा कर ,
ये दोस्ताना थाम लें ,
जो कल छूट गया ,उसे दोहराकर ,
अपनी दोस्ती का परचम फहराकर ,
दोस्तों की टोली को फिर लहराकर।
