आज तो परिंदे ने भी आशियाना छोड़ दिया 

जब उसे कहा गया वो पाला जा रहा है 

उसके अस्तित्व पर आज एक सवाल खड़ा था 

जिस आशियाने को तिनका तिनका कर संजोया था 

हर तूफान और आंधी से समेटा था जिसको उसने 

आज उसी आशियाने से गूंजता है स्वर 

यहाँ क्या है तेरा ?

खुद को मिटा दिया ए रूह के परिन्दे तूने 

जिस आशियाने को महल बनाने में 

आज तेरा जिक्र भी नहीं 

उस आशियाने के तहखाने में
